Hi, thanks for visiting. My name is Esther and I am a doll lover. About
ten years ago, when my kids went to the Waldorf pre- school, I completely fell in love with the little dolls on the season table at school. Soon I started to make those little dolls by myself and after
a while I decided to design my own dolls and a year later my studio ‘Schatten
van de Natuur’ was born. I made tutorials of the little seasonal table dolls
and together with my husband Rob we made craft kits of the designs and sold
them to Dutch, Belgium, German and South African stores so people could make
their own table dolls. It was a lot of fun but after 6 years we decided to sell
the wholesale department so I could concentrate on the larger dolls. At the end
of 2012 we decided to change our name in Bibi Butterscotch dolls.
We
are located in Ede in the middle of the Netherlands
